Frau Holle and the Wild Hunt
Join us for a workshop about the Germanic Goddess of Winter, Frau Holle. Together, we will learn about Frau Holle’s traditional role throughout Scandinavia and other parts of Europe, as well as how we can work with her in our modern lives. We’ll also learn about her role in the Wild Hunt and how we can utilize intentional practices to clear away old energies during this magical and internal time of year.
Sat, Dec. 20th | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm | $40
Location: The Studio at Illuminations in Cedar Rapids, IA

What to Expect:
Said to be older than the Norse gods, Frau Holle is a powerful feminine figure in European folklore. She is often present during the dark winter months and encourages us to clear away old, dead energies so new energies can begin to grow. In this short workshop, we will cover some of the basics of her story as well as the following:
- A brief presentation about her and her role in the Wild Hunt
- A meditation to connect with her
- Suggestions for clearing energy during this time of year and beyond
